1-20-05 – Inauguration Day has political talk flowing in Texoma. At a local diner, customers gave President Bush high marks for the job he's done. They also have high expectations for what comes next.
Most people at Betty Lou’s in Denison felt the President is doing a good job and will only improve over the next four years. Most criticism revolved around the economy. But while many were eager to talk about the President’s performance, few had a big interest in today’s festivities, and didn’t plan on watching much television coverage.
The city also celebrated the day by posting 98 Texas and American flags along the Denison Viaduct.
