DENISON, TX -- The Red River Autoplex in Denison is holding their annual "Toy Run" on Sunday. They ask you bring two canned goods and one new, unwrapped toy, or give a minimum $10 donation per person.

The run will begin at 1 p.m. behind the antique fire truck from Sherman. There will be door prizes, t-shirts, and food will be served at the end of the run at Loose Wheels, Texas.

If you want to get there early for a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, the bake sale starts at 10 a.m. The toys, food, and money go directly to the Grayson County Salvation Army.

WOW!!! I can't believe that someone would actually be so shallow and self centered to post a rant about such a generous act given by these bikers. These men and women rode in from all over in VERY cold weather to donate toys and can goods to people they don't even know. You can go to the mall anytime...and obviously you have the internet so do some online shopping. Karma is a b****. I hope you are never in a situation that would require you to depend on the generosity of others. You might one day have to eat your words. WAY TO GO BIKERS!!!!!!!

I just want to thank everyone involved for screwing up my opportunity to buy my wife's Christmas gift today. I had to work today (Sunday) and on my lunch hour I tried to run down to Midway Mall so I could do a little shopping. I got stopped at the intersection of Texoma Parkway and FM 691, for over 20 minutes. No police escort, no published route that I'm aware of, just a bunch of bikers blocking the road like it was their birthright. By the time all those bikes cleared the intersection, I had no choice but to turn around and go back to work empty handed. So while all you bikers are out patting yourselves on the back for your "good deeds", also know that you screwed up at least one person's holiday shopping. Yay for you!
