92 Teens Caught with Alcohol

Video will be available shortly.

11-18-04 – Ninety two teenagers were caught with alcohol over the weekend in Cooke County. Deputies spotted a car-full of teens leaving the party off county road 387 in Era.

The Sheriff’s office and TABC gave all the teens minor in possession tickets. Authorities still do not know who provided them with alcohol.

In many cases, TABC agents say underage people stop adults outside liquor stores and ask them to purchase alcohol.

In those cases, both the adult and the minor can be prosecuted.

The teens caught in Cooke County this weekend, will have to appear before a judge and pay a fine of up to $500. They will also be required to take an alcohol awareness class.
