1-24-05 - A man armed with a handgun robbed the Security First National Bank of Hugo Monday afternoon.
FBI agents say a black male entered the bank, pointed a handgun at a teller, provided a white paper sack, and demanded money. He took the bag and fled the bank on foot. He was last seen south of the bank in the bank parking lot. No one was injured in the robbery.
The robber was described as approximately 20 years old, 6’0” tall, 180 lbs., wearing baggy blue jeans and a red and white short sleeved shirt (red sleeves, white body).
The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and Hugo Police Department.
The Oklahoma Banker’s Association offers a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of anyone robbing a member bank.
