Ardmore Expects Boom On Main

01-28-05 – While several longtime businesses on Ardmore’s Main Street have shut their doors in the past months, authorities say they expect a boom in the future. They say main streets all over America go through cycles.

The Main Street Authority in Ardmore says potential buyers have been looking at the old Stolfa’s and Walls buildings as well as other vacant stores and expect new tenants to be in them soon. Meanwhile, businesses still on Main Street say their sales numbers are as good as ever. Some even reporting record profits over the Holidays.
