Toddlers Found Wandering Streets

Video will be available shortly.

1-31-05 - Two toddlers wandering unsupervised along an Ardmore street recently is raising new questions about when and when not to leave your children home alone. The incident happened on Friday at 4pm, when a woman driving on Grand Street saw two small children walking near the intersection of Grand and Rockford Place.

The children were just 3 and 4 years old, and had wandered about 100 yards away from their home. Police later realized the children had been left in the care of a 9-year-old child while their mother went to the bank.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and only gave the parents a warning.
