GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- A mysterious death continues to puzzle Grayson County authorities after a man was found dead Thursday morning.

Despite the family's account, authorities have ruled out suicide and suspect foul play was involved.

Police say Danny Joe Rolen, Jr., 32, was found dead by his girlfriend Thursday morning in their home west of Pottsboro.

The man had severe lacerations on his wrist, but investigators say that's not how he died.

Investigators have been collecting evidence and witness accounts to find out what happened.

Rolen's body is at the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.

GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- Authorities are investigating what they are calling a suspicious death.

At 7:15 Thursday morning, the Grayson County Sheriff's Office got a call from the woman living in a residence in the 100 block of Anglers Beach Boulevard west of Pottsboro. What police found has led to an all-day investigation.

Authorities say the woman living in the home reported finding her boyfriend dead when she woke up Thursday morning. The woman was taken into police custody where they say she was questioned.

Detectives on the scene are releasing very few details, except to say the death is suspicious and the victim is a 32-year-old man.

Two children were home at the time but we're told they're both safe and staying with family.

The next-door neighbor, Renee Cole, says she's most concerned about the children.

“Apparently they've seen a lot and been through a lot."

Detectives on the scene are searching the rest of the house for evidence.
