MARIETTA, Okla. -- An early morning stabbing at a Love County apartment complex sent one person to the hospital on Thursday. Marietta Police say the stabbing happened sometime after 4 a.m. at the Stone-Briar Apartments off Indian Trails Road.

Authorities are not releasing any names but say a male in his mid-to-late twenties was stabbed multiple times by a male suspect. Police say a young woman was also inside the apartment

"Two stab wounds, one to the neck, one to the shoulder. There was major blood loss. He was in pretty serious condition when they left to go to the hospital," Marietta Police Assistant Chief Scott Chaney said.

Police are still looking for the suspect.

The victim was transported by ambulance to an Oklahoma City hospital where he is reportedly in stable condition.

I was the person who got stabbed. The police knew who the suspect was and where he was. He was questioned and released even after he admitted to the crime. I was questioned several times by the police. I kept trying to pursue the case but the D.A. of Love Co. kept saying they was waiting on the officer to turn in his police report over the incident. To my knowledge they have not tried to pursue the case.
