DENISON, Tex. -- An investigation in Denison has led to a drug bust and arrest in the 600 block of West Chestnut in Denison. Police say the people who lived in the home were under investigation by the narcotics unit.

When they had enough information to get a search warrant, they went to the house made two arrests for manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance.

Lt. Mike Eppler of the Denison Police Department says he is happy that information led to these arrests.

"Anytime you have people dealing drugs or any criminal activity, we would like to see the case come to a positive conclusion and get people off the street."

Eppler also says he always wants people to pass along any information they may have on criminal activity.

I'm on probation for drug possession. I found out why certain crack houses in Denison and Sherman don't get shut down. They provide hundreds of thousands of dollars to Grayson County. The cops video drug buyers coming and going. When the time is right the buyer gets busted. Then, the buyer has to pay court costs, drug court costs, monthly probation fees, court imposed fines. I told the cop there was a kilo of cocaine powder in a house fixing to be turned into crack. The cop said they could do nothing because they had rights. I told the cop when they were going to Dallas to pick up powder, five pounds to bring to the same house to make crack. An easy process. The cop said they knew about it. I watched the delivery made. The powder turned into crack, sold, buyer stopped and arrested, to jail then they started the cycle. The whole point is all about money. Certain crack houses are protected by Denison Cops. I am an eyewitness. One night you get home, breakin. Your stuff for crack/meth.
