CHOCTAW COUNTY, Okla. -- The district judge assigned to Oklahoma State Senator Jeff Rabon's DWI case has recused himself. Prosecutors say assistant District Judge James Wolfe stepped down from the case because of a potential conflict of interest with Senator Rabon.
Officials say both men have worked for the Choctaw Nation. A district judge is expected to assign a new judge to the case.
Rabon is being tried for aggravated driving while intoxicated. He was arrested on charges following a traffic accident in Hugo in August.
