12-2-04 - A body found in rural Cooke County has been identified as 22-year-old Eric McGilvary of Gainesville. Authorities say a hunter came upon the body on the shoulder of County Road 127, in the Dripping Springs area, Wednesday morning.
The body was sent to a medical examiner for an autopsy; preliminary results are not expected for several days.
Authorities are calling this a homicide investigation.
