Still No Sign Of Missing Woman

2-15-05 – Another search for a missing Sanger woman turned up nothing. Authorities searched a property across the street from the property of Charles Edward Stobaugh for two and a half hours in hopes of finding his missing wife, Katherine, but were unsuccessful.

Katherine Lynn Stobaugh, 43, was reported missing to Sanger police on January 9th, 2004 by her daughter.

Last month, the Denton County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers searched the property of her husband, where the Nocona teacher, was last seen, but did not find anything.

Right now, Charles Stobaugh is being called a person of interest. He claims to have called his wife after she went missing, but authorities say phone records do not show any calls that were made.
