TISHOMINGO, Okla. -- Tishomingo city officials are set to address the city’s water woes. City officials say in January they will entertain bidders to construct new water and sewer lines.
Residents living in the north-east side of the city say they have had water pressure issues for several years. The city recently received about $115,000 in grants from the Oklahoma Water Resource Board and the Rural Economic Assistant Program.
City officials plan to use that money to start construction in late January and hope to complete construction on the new water lines by late April.
