You know that is exactly what they would do for a resurface and leveling job on a curvy winding road in Sherman. Level trees! Look at the mess at Travis and Lamberth. Drive on out Travis a way and you find they did the same thing there. And yes, Dallas is coming soon and already here, who is buying all of those $300 - $500 thousand dollar homes that are being built? The employees at Tyson or the Town Center Shops?

Dear Another Commuter...You could get a job at the White House. You have a talent for taking one piece of information, and turning it into something completely different. Plow down trees? Make the road wider? Quite a stretch from what I said. That section of road could be made much safer with some leveling and resurfacing, period. With respect to your Allen to McKinney problem...despite popular opinion, you have quite a wait before the Sherman-Denison area has a traffic problem of that magnitude. Examine some census data, and consider the vast amounts of undeveloped territory between Van Alstyne and McKinney. Growth is inevitable, but "very, very soon" is not in the equation.

I wish we could put a wall up around Sherman area to keep the DFW'ers out. Stay away you people.

That's the answer Ralph, just plow down more trees, make the road wider. Doesn't anyone like to drive down shady lanes anymore?? Or are you just into going fast on a highway or any road for that matter? I'll tell you about going fast on a highway...It took me 30 minutes to drive northbound on HWY 75 from Allen to McKinney. Why did it take that long? I have no idea and it's coming this way soon, very soon. The "Dallasites" can't handle the traffic so they're all moving up here to plow down the trees with Ralph.

I'm happy to hear the driver is ok. This is a tricky stretch of road...a lot of unevenness, dips, curves etc. It is traveled more than ever. It allows alternative access (vs Hwy 75) to and from town center. Perhaps rebuilding and resurfacing is in order to improve safety.

Here we go with the "they're from Oklahoma/Texas garbage". And you said LOL!!! I see nothing funny about this accident. You should be ashamed of yourself!!!

I didn't see in person where the accident was, but if it was North on Loy Lake, there is no red light there. The road is curvy, narrow, and dark at night. An accident could happen to anyone there.
