DENISON, Tex. -- For one Denison woman, her fifteen minutes of fame started Thursday.

Gina Dusek and her husband traveled to Los Angeles a few months ago to attend the 2007 Emmy Awards, but that wasn't the highlight of their trip.

Gina got the chance to attend The Price Is Right while in L.A. and was chosen as a contestant on the popular game show.

The Price Is Right airs everyday at 10 a.m. on KXII-TV Channel 12.

I too hope Gina had a good time. I wish she had won a bundle. Nevertheless, I don't believe someone (anyone) going on the PIR is a NEWS story. Didn't someone win $5,000 at Winstar recently, didn't someone from the area get to be part of the Letterman audience, didn't someone go to Disney World? News stories don't have to be neagative, they just need to be...newsworthy.

lol @ all the "who cares" comments. Geez people....what, did you wake up in a bad mood? what, you can't be happy for someone who had some fun? WOW...I'm amazed at all the negativity in Texoma. I say, "WTG Gina!! I hope you had a GREAT time!"

How come you didn't put my comment on here? Because it had absolutely nothing to do with the story. Please refer to our commenting guidelines-
