12-22-04- A top Pentagon official says it looks like yesterday's deadly attack in Mosul was caused by a suicide bomber.
General Richard Myers -- chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff -- says the blast appears to have been caused by an attacker carrying an explosive.
As for how that person got onto the military base, Myers says
investigators aren't sure yet and are working to find out.
The general isn't saying what evidence shows the explosion was a
suicide bomb and not a rocket.
he blast killed 22 people, including 13 American service members.
