03-01-05 - A psychiatrist for the prosecution was called to the stand Tuesday morning to testify for the defense. The doctor spoke of Thomas' suicide attempts, delusions, and strange beliefs that match up with previous testimony.
The defense hopes the testimony will show Thomas’ insanity.
However, doctors say Thomas’ drug and alcohol abuse was enough to cause a psychotic disorder and violent behavior. In Texas, a drug induced psychosis does not excuse crime.
