Suspect Sought in Apartment Fire

1-3-04 - A suspicious fire that destroyed four units of a Sherman apartment complex over the weekend may be the work of an arsonist.

items from the apartment he shared with his girlfriend on New Year’s Eve. The fire began just after midnight.

Police think they man might have set the fire on purpose to get back at his girlfriend, who also lived in the apartment. Fire investigators could not find any accidental causes of the fire.

The name of the suspect has not been released.
