Drive-By Shooting Victim Dies

1-6-04 – The victim in a drive-by shooting in Hugo this week has died. Thirty one year old Reginald Deshon Mitchell was shot twice outside a friend’s home in the 600 block of South E Street Tuesday night.

Mitchell was shot once in the head and once in the chest before the shooters drove away from the scene. He was rushed to a Tulsa hospital where he died around 6:00 a.m. Thursday.

Police were searching for three suspects. All are described as black males last seen in a small red pickup.

The OBSI, OHP and Hugo police are looking for the suspects, they are considered armed and dangerous.

Agents are following leads, but no arrests have been made.
