Students Hoping 'Change' Makes a Difference

1-5-05 - Local students are coming to the aid of the tsunami victims half a world away. Students in the Sherman ISD are raising money for the American Red Cross, one penny at a time. Dillingham Intermediate started their drive today – and had already raised $75 in change.
Their goal is $500, but the district’s efforts could surpass that as well. Crutchfield and Fairview elementary will start penny drives on Thursday.
