3-3-05 - Authorities in Murray County say they caught two people red-handed with large counterfeit bills. William Pottorff and Michelle Roberts of Wichita, Kansas were busted at the Turner Falls Inn with nine counterfeit 50’s and two bogus 100’s.
Davis police say the pair tried to pass one of the bills at a local convenience store and food mart. Officers tracked the pair down at the motel.
They face 2 counts of Attempted Uttering Forged Counterfeit Money, 11 counts of possession of counterfeit money and 1 count of conspiracy.
