1-18-05 – A Grayson County family is unable to live in their home after fire caused extensive smoke damage. Flames broke out around 4:30 p.m. Monday at a home on Inlow Road near Howe.

No one was in the house at the time of the fire and no injuries are reported. However, many of the family’s possessions were destroyed.

Firefighters put out the flames and saved the structure. The cause is still under investigation, but crews say it appears it started in the kitchen.

The family is insured.
