3-12-05- A 13 year old boy was found dead in Moss Lake near Gainesville Saturday evening. Two fisherman discovered the body near the North boat ramp around 4:40 p.m.
13 year old Timothy Kyle Key had on shorts, but no shirt or shoes. Investigators say he was known to walk around the area and they believe he lived in the area. Gainesville police are investigating the incident as a drowning and say they do not believe foul play was involved.
Witnesses last saw the boy near the lake about an hour before his body was discovered.
