MADILL, OK - A mobile home manufacturing company in Marshall County is closing its doors next month, leaving more than a hundred people without jobs.
Solitaire Homes Manufacturing in Madill closes its doors for good on February 6th. The Southern Workforce Board said when that happens 120 employees will lose their jobs. In an effort to help the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce plans to host its very first job fair.
"Bring a resume if you have one, and otherwise bring your confidence with you, bring the tools you need mentally to sell yourself to these employers, and hopefully we will match the people looking for a job with one of these employers," Kate Brennan with the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce said.
The event will be held Saturday February 4th at William Ray Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Chamber of commerce invites anyone looking for a job to attend.
The list of employers scheduled to attend are: American Inn, Atwoods, Best Western, City of Madill, CM Trailers, 1st Staffing Group, Oklahoma Steel and Wire, REI, Service Master, Walmart and more.
