03-15-05 – A member of the jury that convicted Andre Thomas and sentenced him to die says it was the gruesome images from the murders that ultimately influenced the jury’s decision. Marty Ulmer spoke to KXII about the case and the task of making a decision.

“The pictures and stuff we saw, it was very tough on all of us. I don’t ever want to see anything like that again.” said Ulmer.

Ulmer said he was not surprised the jury was overwhelmingly convinced of Thomas’ guilt. Saying Thomas did not take responsibility.

He says he will never forget Thomas of those that he killed, and that some parts of Sherman, he will never look at the same again.
