Concert Helps Fight Cancer

Video will be available shortly.

1-27-05 – Barbara Brookshire of Sherman was diagnosed with breast cancer just after Thanksgiving and medical bills are piling up. But Thursday night, Cutters is holding a benefit concert that will help raise that money.

Brookshire has been through two successful surgeries and will start chemotherapy Friday. It has left her with thousands of dollars in medical bills, but her daughter and friends along with Douglas Sound have organized a concert starring Spur 503 and Jaime Richards.

The show starts Thursday night at 8pm at Cutters Night Club in Denison. Tickets cost $5 at the door and the money will help Brookshire with her medical costs.
