Gainesville woman hit by car in Love County
THACKERVILLE, OK - A Gainesville woman was careflighted to a Plano Hospital after being hit by a car in Love County early this morning.

THACKERVILLE, OK - A Gainesville woman was careflighted to a Plano Hospital after being hit by a car in Love County early this morning. According to a DPS report it happened around 2 a.m on Merle Wolfe road 2 miles south of Thackerville.

Troopers say a 2010 Honda Accord driven by 47-year-old Camille Silmon of Grand Prairie was driving northbound and hit a woman who was walking southbound in the northbound lane. Investigators say the Gainesville woman was knocked nearly 22 feet down the roadway.

The woman's name has not yet been released. Officials say the vehicle pulled over after impact and the driver and passenger of the car had no reported injuries.
