ARDMORE, Okla. -- Two people have been arrested in the Brandi Baird homicide case, one of whom was in court Tuesday morning.
Roy Bassett, 25, had his preliminary conference Tuesday morning.
Carter County deputies discovered the body of Brandi Baird last December behind an oil lease in Healdton.
Investigators suspect that Baird had died at Bassett’s residence in Healdton, and Bassett had illegally dumped Baird’s body.
Nathan Langley also appeared in court for his preliminary hearing.
Langley was arrested on drug and weapons charges Friday and is also suspected to be involved in Baird's death.
Langley’s bond was set at $50,000. His next court date is set for February 5.
