3-24-05 – A high-speed chase ended in a crash early Thursday morning in Marshall County. According to authorities, a deputy attempted to stop a car driven by Donald William Nordhoff of Sadler around four in the morning.
The driver took off at speeds of over 100 miles per hour and crashed the vehicle he was driving on State Highway 99C. According to an investigating state trooper, Nordhoff ran off the east side of the highway and struck an embankment.
Nordhoff was taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City with head injures. He was last listed in serious condition.
The deputy was not injured. The suspect will be charged with driving while intoxicated and attempting to allude an officer.
