Ailing Tiger Gets Free Help

3-25-05 - A medical team donated their time to help save a tiger’s life today. Zeus is a 6-year-old tiger that lives at GW’s Exotic Animal Park in Wynnewood, but for the last 8 months he’s suffered from an infected paw. The park couldn’t afford to pay for help, so the state ordered that Zeus be put to sleep.

But a medical team from Oklahoma City volunteered to help out. On Friday, they took x-rays of the big cat’s paw. Once they get the results, they’ll make sure Zeus is nursed back to health.
