3-30-05 - The solution for easing driving headaches in Texas actually means creating a few of them first. Workers with the Texas Department of Transportation were stopping cars on Highway 82, along the Cooke & Grayson County line, conducting a survey on how to improve Texas roads.
Workers closed down one lane, and used it to funnel random vehicles to the survey area. The survey was voluntary and usually took about 10 minutes to conduct.
The surveys will be used to justify future road improvements. The surveys will be going on all over the north Texas area until the end of May.
