Bandits Rob Taco Stand

4-10-05- Two bandits robbed a Sherman taco stand on Sunday afternoon. The men strong-armed the manager of Fanny's Taco Stand in the parking lot of Piggly Wiggly on East Lamar. They stole the generator used to operate the stand.

Sherman police are on the lookout for the two robbers who they say took of in a white truck with blue stripes.

Witnesses say the bandits backed the truck up to the stand and made off with the generator while it was still running. The owner says they robbers stole her livelihood, since the stand is how she earns money to feed her family. The owner had just purchased the generator two weeks ago.

Authorities set up surveillance on Dewey Avenue where the men were last seen heading north. Authorities say the suspect are two white men.
