No Stopping for Sherman Bus Stops

Video will be available shortly.

4-11-05 - A growing problem in Sherman has caught the attention of Sherman police – and was even caught on tape on Monday.

More and more vehicles have failed to stop or yield for school buses. One problem area has been along Baker Road in Sherman – a drop-off spot for a daycare. The owner of Stepping Stones Learning Center says cars are often speeding when they drive by her business.

As our cameras watched, one driver drove past a bus while it was unloading. That driver, along with others, will receive tickets ranging from $200 to $1,000.
