DURANT, OK-One of the people charged in the death of former Denison football star D.J. Jones last summer is headed to prison.
The district attorney's office said Kelley was originally charged with first-degree murder, but pleaded guilty to second-degree murder as part of a plea agreement and was sentenced by a judge to 35 years in prison.
Officials with the DA's office said Kelley agreed to testify against the other people charged with Jones' murder as part of the agreement.
Dustin Metcalf and Harold Hass have been charged with first degree murder.
Alora Hix has been charged with second degree murder in the case.
