A Moderate to Enhanced risk for severe storms has been issued for Texoma. Storms look to become strong to severe and will be firing up around 11am. Primary threats include heavy rainfall leading to flooding, large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado is possible as well but chances aren't very high. 4-25-05 – Three people, including two middle school students, were injured Monday morning after a Sherman ISD school bus and passenger car collided at the intersection of SPUR 1417 and Highway 56.
Two students were taken to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. One person in the other vehicle was also transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The bus was on its way to Dillingham Intermediate School. EMS workers checked other students at the scene of the accident before the bus was allowed to continue.
Troopers are investigating the cause of the accident.
