New weigh stations coming to Texoma

ARDMORE, OK--Truckers traveling through Texoma will soon have to stop at three new weigh stations.

ODOT is adding 9 new weigh and inspection stations along key interstates and highways. Three of those in our area. The first, in Love County, on I-35 at the Texas State line.

Another, in Bryan County, south of Durant on US-69/75 at the State line. And one on US-271 in Choctaw County, south of Hugo also at the Texas State line.

ODOT's new "Port of Entry project" should cost about one million dollars. Officials say there is no set date of completion.
