4-28-05 – Traffic on I-35 north of Sanger was brought to a near stand-still when a semi lost its load of tires after rear ending another 18-wheeler. The site took almost two hours to clear as northbound traffic was diverted to the service road.
The accident occurred when the semi carrying the tires lost control and hit the other truck. The trailer split open, littering the road with tires. Traffic had already been down to one lane due to construction.
Nobody was injured in the accident, but one car was damaged by one of the tires.
