5-7-05- Voters in Tioga headed to the polls Saturday to make an eight million dollar decision. Less than two hundred people turned out to vote, but the school bond passed by a good margin.
Voters said "yes" to two propositions totaling more than eight million dollars. The bond will pay for construction of a new high school, something the school has not had since 1961. Several students have been attending schools in other districts.
Construction could begin as early as August of 2005 and the school could be ready for students by the 2006 school year.
