ARDMORE, OK - The woman accused of running over a pregnant Ardmore woman last month was in court today. Online court records state 28-year-old Veronica Jaramillo is charged with two counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Authorities say she ran over Shelby Miller the night of April 28th when she went outside her home to check on a fight in the street outside her home. Miller suffered a fractured spine and pelvis, a broken collar bone, and bruised lungs, and she had a miscarriage.
Jaramillo is due back in court for a preliminary conference August 30.
