Video will be available shortly.

5-22-05- He is currently serving time on Texas' Death Row, but Monday, Andre Thomas returns to Sherman for a hearing to determine whether he will receive a new trial.

Several jurors from Thomas' capital murder trial earlier this year are scheduled to take the stand in the defense motion for a new trial.

Thomas was convicted back in March of the March 2004 murders of his estranged wife Laura Thomas, their 4 year old son Andre, and her 13 month old daughter Leyha Hughes.

After a trial that lasted more than a month, It took jurors just 30 minutes to return the guilty verdict and less than an hour to sentence Thomas to death.
