Sherman teen hit by car

SHERMAN, TX -- A 16 year old boy is recovering in a Sherman hospital Friday evening after being hit by a car.

It happened around 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Cleveland and Chaffin street.

Sherman Police the boy was riding his bike around a car stopped at a stop sign.

That's when he was hit by another car going north on Cleveland.

He was taken to Texas Health Presbyterian WNJ with minor injuries.

Sherman Police and Fire responded to the accident. Which remains under investigation.
