Local law enforcement search for bank robber

GARVIN COUNTY, OK -- A Garvin County bank was robbed Saturday morning and the FBI is asking for help in identifying the suspect.

Investigators say just after 11 a.m., a man walked into the First American Bank in Maysville and demanded money through a note.

Officials say the teller complied with his demand, and then the robber took off on foot.

Authorities say no one was injured during the robbery and no weapon was seen. The robber is described as a white male approximately 5'5" with a heavy build.

He was wearing a baseball cap, a dark blue t-shirt, sunglasses and jeans.
