The city of Lone Grove could soon have new land to add their full and overcrowded cemetery. Right now plots are all sold out. If residents don't have a space already their family members have to find another cemetery to bury them in.
The city has tried to purchase ten acres of land next door but the owner won't sell. Tonight, the council members put together a committee of residents to help find land quickly so no one else has to be buried out of town.
With this new committee the city hopes to acquire the land they need in the next few months.
