Man wanted for high speed chase in custody

ATOKA COUNTY, OK -- The Sherman man accused of leading Calera police on a high speed chase nearly 2 weeks ago is jailed in Atoka County.

The Sheriff's Office says a US Marshall pulled over 38-year-old Casey Lee Weimer on a traffic stop in Tushka Tuesday night at around 10.

He'll be brought to the Bryan County jail on several charges including eluding police. Dashcam video shows a Calera officer pulling over and talking to the driver of a red pickup on June 25th. They say Casey Lee Weimer then took off, leading officers on a chase at speeds of nearly 100-miles per hour.
