6-26-05 - With July 4th just around the corner, the nation celebrates not only its freedom, but also offers thanks to those who help make the country free. This weekend in Burleson, Texas, crowds gathered to honor soldier wounded in Iraq.
The event is called "Wounded Warriors, Fallen Heroes" and it is staged by military families and a Burleson church. A busload of soliders were the guests of honor, many of them recovering at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio.
But organizers say the tribute does not end here. They hope to set up a tax-exempt charity to provide continued support for wounded members of the military.
