DENISON, Tex. -- From “air guitar,” to the videogame Guitar Hero, even singing in the shower. Most people only dream about being a rockstar, playing for thousands of people. One local band is making their dream a reality.

"I want to open a show for 50,000 people for someone like Motley Crue,” says guitarist Randy Cooper.

It was his dream, and now it’s coming true. After years playing local joints and beating the streets to promote their band, the Texas Hippie Coalition is going to be opening for one of their favorite bands: Motley Crue.

"It was like, ‘Oh man you’re kidding me,’” says John Exall, the group’s bassist. “We grew up idolizing those cats and it's a great honor to even be included in Rocklahoma.”

“I was just completely stunned,” says ‘Cowboy’ Scott Lytle, the drummer. “I didn't know what to do, ‘MC’ is my all time fav band ever, I was speechless, first thing I did was call my mama,” he says.

“I couldn't believe it, I'm still kind of shocked,” says Michael Heyes, the rhythm guitarist. “I'm overjoyed by it and I'm really looking forward to it,” he says.

With long tresses and sunglasses, it's no surprise these guys like the hair metal. Cooper started by knocking on agent's doors. They weren’t looking for more money, but the chance to live the dream. With a new CD in hand, a big venue like Rocklahoma seemed like the chance of a lifetime.

One day, fate was on the Hippie's side. Cooper knocked on a lucky door and played their CD for agent Max Baker. Once the music started playing, the magic started happening.

“I started playing and about 30 seconds as soon as it starts, heads started banging and by the time if was over, 8 people were in the office,” Cooper says.

The agents really liked what they heard.

“Two of them were playing air guitar like Guitar Hero, and the solo came up and I said excuse me do y’all mind if Ii play this solo and by that time I knew it was following in our direction,” he says.

By the time the executive jam session was over, the band had a spot opening for Motley Crue.

“Man he typed our name in there and said how doe this sound, right after Tesla, right before Motley Crue,” Cooper says. “Man the emotions, the touchdown sign went up, we played a little more air guitar, the emotions were running high.”

The hippies think of each other like brothers and say each person is partly responsible for their success.

“It's all 5 of us persevering, whether it's loading the equipment, booking the shows, you know, coming and picking the other one up because he got a flat tire,” says ‘Big Dad Ritch,’ the vocalist.

No matter the obstacles they have to overcome, this motley crew is ready for the big stage.

If you want to see the Texas Hippie Coalition, they'll be at "Rocklahoma" in Pryor with several other bands July 10-13th.

Well now, if THC isn't good enough to make it, why did they sell over 800 CD/DVDs, hundreds of T-shirts with their picture, gobs of other paraphenalia at Rocklahoma? Why did the crowd flood the tent after the stages collapsed from rain to see them, screaming so loud it hurt ears? Why is it they were treated to free meals and beer, free lodging and had personal assistants and bodyguards? How come they were immediately booked for Rock the Bayou in Houston, Ride for Dime in Dallas, five other gigs and have three songs requested every day on Oklahoma radios? Why were they interviewed by over thirty TV, Radio, newspapers and magazines including Rolling Stone and VH1? Why were they allowed to make three professional videos using Chaotic Studios and an actress and not pay a dime? How come over 120,000 people have visited their website? Why does the UK already have a fanclub? Why were they given free top quality equipment and thousands of dollars in the last month?

What a joke. I was kinda impressed that THC was opening for MC. BUT, considering that they aren't, and they are just playing a side stage (which doesn't constitute opening anyway) and they straight up lied to the news, I've lost a lot of respect for them. Even if they thought they really were opening for MC, don't you think they should have done a little research before running to Channel 12 to make sure it was really happening? Instead they have made fools of themselves... again. Nothing against their music or the people who like their music, but that shows pretty poor character, even for a "Band of Outlaws"... It's just unprofessional.

someone..in response to your question "who would play for a children's benefit", the same thing could be asked of the people who came to Carlotta's Cantina, where THC was scheduled to play for a children's benefit... especially if as you say "anyone might expect this." My point is...if you don't want to hear profanity, then don't go to/camp beside a bar where a Metal band is playing. The whole scenario seems ludicrous to me. It's like going to a Boxing match and then complaining about the violence. Not trying to judge anyone...I actually Googled Carlotta's Cantina and it looks like a great place that I will definitely visit when in the area. As far as THC, I met a couple of those guys recently and they are some of the nicest people you will ever know. Their live show is amazing. It is quite raw with brutally honest rhetoric. We should be thanking Carlotta's Cantina, as well as THC, for stepping up and doing something to help out, instead of sitting back and criticizing those that do.

Posted by: someone with a clue on Mar 18, 2008 at 10:32 PM
to Tonya in regards to the Matt statement....whether at carlitas, or anywhere...who would play for a "childrens" benefit & fill the performance with profanity....you are however right about going in if they are playing a bunch of filth laden songs...but "hello"...a childrens benefit.....that's just tacky & what anyone who knows them might expect...they've smoked their brains & can't see what would be wrong with that.....be honest.....

Posted by: Matt on Mar 18, 2008 at 08:37 AM
Ummmm? Wasn't a complaint. Just a statement.

Posted by: Tonya Location: Paris on Mar 16, 2008 at 11:49 AM
Matt, I am not understanding your complaint...were the children inside the Cantina or just camping next to it? Either way, it would seem unreasonable to ask an establishment/or band that caters to a "party" crowd to censor its content because a few self-righteous individuals did not have the good sense not to go inside it or park next to it.

Posted by: Matt Location: Norman on Mar 15, 2008 at 09:31 AM
Who would want their children to listen to THC? I have seen them once for about 3 songs at carlotta's cantina playing a benefit for kids. Why only 3 songs you ask? The park rangers had to repeatedly ask them to keep the foul language down due to the campers. Big Rich made an ass out of himself and let the language only get worse and louder. They were asked to leave. I just found it ironic that at a benefit for children THC didn't have enough respect for the children and their families that were camping to clean it up a bit. It just seems to me that they already think they are a big deal, and don't have to go by the rules.

I was turned on to these guys by a friend of the bassist and let me tell ya they are the next Pantera in my ears. we will all miss the original but these guys I beleive are the next to, never replace but carry on the sound. A true headbanger knows what it being said here.. KEEP IT RIPPIN HIPPIES.

Just wanted to jump in here and say something. I recently had the opportunity to see THC play at a local benefit concert. Most of the people at this event, including myself, had never seen THC live before. There were people from many different backgrounds/musical genres...including men, women, teenagers, and children who had came in from all over who absolutely LOVED these guys! I personally thought that they put on an a great show, but what impressed me the most was their music seemed to transcend traditional musical boundaries.

Hey you...THC DAUGHTER, you say "why do you continue to write comments if you do not like them?"....well, why do you keep coming back to read them if you don't like what people have to say? Narrow minds think alike, huh?

Posted by: UNHIPPIE on Mar 14, 2008 at 04:01 PM
Thanks for the encouraging words BIGDAWG. I've changed my evil ways of expressing my opinions on an INTERNET FORUM that hardly anyone cares about. I'm pointing out things that I've SEEN and HEARD. I'm not getting into anything personal. That would be ridiculous. I didn't know that disagreeing and not going with the majority makes you a bad person. Thanks for the enlightenment. Sometimes we should take our own advice that's given to others. Creative writing might help YOU come up with some better lyrics. I think it's funny someone thinks that writing a little comment is trying to get attention. Don't worry THC DAUGHTER, no one's trying to steal the "spotlight" from THC. Why do you guys automatically think someone's into country music if we don't care for THC's music? That's really lame. I guess if you're really that interested in finding out my own talents, I'll have to post a link. Oh wait, I won't. You obviously don't know that some people don't need praise or constant approval.

Hey THC! who cares what everybody else says? you rock and you know it! Keep it up!

Posted by: THC DAUGHTER Location: NEW ORLEANS on Mar 14, 2008 at 02:14 PM
To all those people who think that THC is terrible, or will not make it... Why do you continue to write comments if you do not like them? THC rocks, plain and simple! You making comments is just making things better for them, more comments is always better. If you have nothing better to do with your time than to dis a band that has done better than you ever could, go ahead and leave more comments. We will keep reading them & know that you are wrong. Besides, they have played in Oklahoma, Dallas and other places besides Sherman and Denison. I love you guys! John, Rich, Cooper, Cowboy, and you too Michael do NOT be discouraged about people saying these things.. they are just trying to get attention! Much love!

Annonymous, he plays dean guitar, and yes, he has his own artist page with dean guitars! Randy is an awesome guitarist... now where did you say we could find your talents shown through any work that you do, other than you ramblings on here about an awesome band who love to make music. So their music doesn't fit your less energetic lifestyle. I don't care for country music, or the local elks dance, and if they make the news, I'm not gonna keep coming back to bash them, for doing what they enjoy doing. Is your only enjoyment in life putting down others? Get a life anonymous, take up a hobby and get good at it, if it makes nobody else happy but harms no one either, you may turn out to be a better person for it. Creative writing maybe...

I thought John quit?????? What ever happened to Cris he was cool...............

Posted by: Anonymous on Mar 13, 2008 at 04:28 PM
Hey "some dude", do the fans know that playing the exact guitar as Dimebag ALL the time is lame? Yes, I think they do. Oh wait, they probably don't even know that's what he played. If ya'll are so big, why don't ya have your own SIGNATURE guitar? Oh, cause it's cool to TRY to be Dimebag..Sorry, I forgot. Originality stands for nothing these days. "The next Pantera"...Wow! That's pretty delusional right there. THC can barely keep up with there own boring music and they're the next PANTERA???!!! I don't see the correlation here, but if someone could help me out...The biggest thing THC have are their egos and nothing more. I've seen their show before and they talk, drink and yell at the crowd more than they actually PLAY. When you have to take a break to ramble between every song it appears that you can't keep up.

Posted by: Anonymous on Mar 13, 2008 at 04:15 PM
I'm confused. Who wants to sign a deal with a record company that promotes "classic rock"? I'm sorry, but why do you guys think Pantera and Metallica were signed?.....They had a NEW sound that was unlike all the other bands playing at the time! They weren't bands trying to take a part of this band and a part of that band and make it their "own" music. They were INNOVATORS and were not going to compromise the music they made in order to get a record deal. Plain and simple, there are no comparisons to be made with THC and PANTERA! Give me a break! I would think a band would want to hear something like "They sound like THC and nothing else"..or "THC is a genre all to itself", not "Oh yeah, they sound like 3 old bands put together because they don't have their OWN sound". Come on! You guys can quote all day, it isn't going to change what people HEAR.

Posted by: Anonymous on Mar 13, 2008 at 04:03 PM
That quote by Derek Oliver is pretty funny, seeing as though Rockcandy Records is only 2 or 3 years old. If it was so impressive, why wasn't the band signed right away? Seems like they wouldn't want to let the "next big thing" slip through their hands. Roadrunner records aren't even interested in signing U.S. bands anyway. Where can I find this quote? I see the "fans" have every website address to go to from their cd to Rocklahoma. Can someone put this one up?

"This is the best unsighned band to come across my desk in two years" Derek Oliver CEO.Roadrunner Records(UK) Owner of Rockcandy Records. Derek also worked with Motley Crue & Metallica in their beginnings, and is also responsible for sighning Pantera to ATCO Records. There is an opinion that really matters. Go to melodicrock.com, for all you may want to know about the music business and or music industry. TEXASHIPPIECOALITION IS THE HOTTEST UNSIGHNED BAND OUT THERE AND ARE BEING REFERED BY THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AS THE NEW LYNARD SKYNARD AND THE NEXT PANTERA. They're from Texas they call them the hippies and we are the COALITION!!!!!!!

Posted by: Pixie Location: Somewhere in time on Mar 13, 2008 at 01:02 PM
Can't we all just get along?????? Love their music or leave it, this commentary is quite entertaining and they sure are getting some much needed exposure to people outside their little hardcore group of 30 or so groupies (sorry Coalition members) that follow them around to every show! Kudos to them for living the DREAM!!! Keep rockin' the real world!

dude..i am in a band..though i disagree with the way they have gone about this by saying they are opening up for motley crue(who has made no announcement of doing this show, only that they start touring on july 4th with motorhead..maybe they will show) but you are clearly opening up a side stage...but best of luck to you guys and i hope the right people see you and it snowballs into a career for you

Posted by: Anonymous Location: Oklahoma on Mar 13, 2008 at 10:13 AM
I have to say that their name is very misleading...When you here the word 'hippie', you think of The Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, The Allman Brothers, peace, love, patchwork, etc. I attended a show (not knowing their music yet), and was so excited that I was going to be able to hear a 'hippie/folk/rock' band (instead of rap or country, yuck!) in the Texoma area. Instead, I saw leathered-out metalheads--which is fine that that is what they are--I was just very disappointed because that WAS NOT what I was expecting. Texas Hippie Coalition are not hippies....musicians, yes, but not hippies. Change your name. Maybe "Texas Metal Coalition...:)

How about just coming out and saying we are playing Rocklahoma hopefully everyone who supports us will come and watch. Instead they have to act like they got some big break and lie and get all chocked up cause they made the big time. If I had a dollar for every band these guys have been in that they said they were going big time I would be rich. They are all just the leftover wanna bes from bands that moved past them. There are some great bands and many fantastic musicians from the Texoma area that smoke these guys both musically and with the heart they put in the music. These guys are just trying to cover their lack of talent with smoke and mirrors. This is all they have left before they retire to being just like everyone else. Oh I forgot that will never happen cause Rich can't sing.

I guess their ploy is working. No one has ever talked about this lame band this much. I guess if their music cannot make them famous this bogus claim might do the trick.

Posted by: Anonymous on Mar 12, 2008 at 12:39 PM
Sorry, but being in a band isn't about the hype. It's the music that brings the hype. If you're good enough, you don't need all the commercials, the radio, or seeking publicity on the news. It comes to you. I don't think anyone's downing them for what they choose to do...it's just how they go about it. You're just not going to get the big break at some 80's has-been festival. Haley my dear, that's what a forum is for...a topic is put up and then everyone gets a chance to voice there opinion. Ya know, kind of like a DISCUSSION. Agree or disagree...it's an OPINION! How about YOU don't come back to this if YOU don't like what we have to say, good or bad??? Freedom of SPEECH babe!

It doesn't matter if you don't like what these guys are doing, they are doing what they love. I don't really dig the heavy music but I've know these cats for years and they are true to who they are. They have never changed styles for the sake of making it and every guy in this band is a great musician and has worked hard to become one. Being in a rock band is about hype and Rich is a hype master and has been since middle school. Any guy playing in a band would love to jamming at this festival no matter who is playing. I know I would. I don't really think these guys believe they are next big thing, they just want to get their music across to as many people as they can. They have always been rock stars in their own minds and isn't that all that matters anyway. Bass players Rule!!

Posted by: Ralph Location: Denison on Mar 12, 2008 at 01:34 AM
Why get down on these guys? They are doing their thing, and they aren't harming anyone. While none of the music featured at Rocklahoma appeals to me, I think it is great these guys have an opportunity to participate. Have a great time THC!

They are playing 3rd stage & i don't see Motley Crue on the bill why would they put a non signed band in a supporting slot. Say Crue is playing that would put THC going on when everybody is trying to get close to the stage. I know the guys well & i have heard John lie time & time again about being signed & playing all these shows anyway who would want to play with these 80's dinosaurs!

We don't need any wannabe metal bands here, metal is dead. This here is Carrie Underwood country. Stay in Texas and continue to play in your momma's garage!

Posted by: Anonymous on Mar 11, 2008 at 08:57 PM
I think there's just more people who dislike this band than you think. Someone always has to complain when people criticize and speak their minds while they're the ones that put this in the spotlight. I think that's funny. Who said we don't enjoy this "news" that THC, themselves, not the news station found? I enjoy it quite a bit. I do find it somewhat strange that most of the comments praising THC has to plug their cd...Hmmm..wonder who's really leaving these comments...I think some people, such as myself are just simply fed up with so much hype, yet so little talent to back it up. Maybe if they were as serious with their music as they are with their promos and publicity, they might become an okay band. Oh yeah, and lay off the partying some. It might some "cool" when you're like 20, but come on now...It's OLD!

Texas Hippie Coalition definitely is not a band for those with little energy. You guys let us women let our hair down as we shake to your rhythm! Got my tickets, be seeing ya at Rocklahoma!

Funny all these comments from those who don't enjoy THC, they continue to come back to leave comments. Go listen to news about someone you enjoy hearing. As for me and my bunch we'll be going to Rocklahoma 2008 listening to great bands with THC among them. THC is a great band with awesome tunes, guys who enjoy playing and Rocklahoma 2008 will be all the better because they are there! Their CD Pride of Texas is bad a$$!

I just wanted to say...if they've so-called "made it", why don't "fans" come to their rinky-dink shows from Dallas and surrounding areas??? If they're as big as they think they are...I would think people would come from maybe the Dallas area instead of the same old pathetic drunks that show up just from the Sherman/Denison area. Hmmm..just something think about. Yeah and Debby, anybody can have a cd made! It's the bands who SALE (key word) cds who have made it in the music business, not GIVEN them away! I think it's just the mindset people have around here. Do you think THC fans ever go to Dallas or ANYWHERE to see bands play? I don't think so. It's just all they have when they wanna go out and get trashed and especially when the band they're seeing keeps filling their heads with lies about how they're so big and on the verge of making it big. Really, how many times have ya'll heard that one?

Posted by: THC fan on Mar 11, 2008 at 04:46 PM
Behind the "music", what channel are you watching? They said “Man he typed our name in there and said how doe this sound, right after Tesla, right before Motley Crue,”

Posted by: Anonymous on Mar 11, 2008 at 04:37 PM
I don't think there are actually any "haters" or any jealousy of THC. Sorry to break it to ya, 420's wife, but they play in SHERMAN and DENISON! Here's a lesson in music..ANYONE can make a freakin' cd! If you PAY, you can have your music recorded...It doesn't matter if they have 3 cds! Give me a break! What people with the record industry is actually going to be there? I'm lost...Good for them. They'll get more exposure, but that's all. I think it's time to throw in the towel guys. I've had the unfortunate experience of seeing them play and it's awful. I think the saddest part of their show was just seeing all the drunken fools acting like it was the best thing they'd ever seen, but then again...they don't really attract a very respected audience. I'm assuming ANYTHING can sound decent if you're wasted. Bottom line, I've been to many concerts, seen many great perfomers, and they don't have what it takes, or atleast anything bigger than TEXOMA has to offer. Give it up and get a life!

Yeepeeeee I'm a rockstar!!!!!!!!!! Oh wait I wanna be a rockstar.... You guys are a little old and not that good... Yall wouldnt make it even if this music?????? was still popular

Posted by: get over it Location: tx on Mar 11, 2008 at 04:02 PM
this concert sounds HORRIBLE! i think i've heard of 3 bands in this line up and they are all washed up 80's has beens! they have already had there prime (if you can call it that) so why would any big label be there to sign bands??? doesn't sound very credible to me, and do you really think a festival would let you anounce the headliner before they got to? i bet motley crue has never even heard of "rocklahoma" have fun on that third stage...btw where is white snake or skid row i'm sure they need some quick cash from morons too

Posted by: behind the "music" on Mar 11, 2008 at 03:56 PM
In response to Pirate, I was already informed on last year's Rocklahoma. Wow..100,000 people IN TOTAL attending a music festival. I'm not surprised by any number that's thrown at me about a concert that draws in a bunch of drunk 30 or 40 something year olds trying to relive their youth through crappy 80's bands. I just think it's a ridiculous idea to think that a venue like this is going to be someone's "big break". It's a bunch of washed-up bands. It's not like playing 2nd or 3rd stage at Ozzfest where they bring in bands that are fresh and have their own sound. I just find it humorous that a band will set up their own interview and basically lie on tv about "opening" for Motley Crue...It's ridiculous! As far as I know about how festivals work, THC would be lucky if they even got within 20 yards of Motley Crue or got any autographs through the management group running the 3rd stage. They've blown this soooo out of proportion. It's to the point of delusional.

To all the haters of T.H.C., quit being jealous. You're probably in a band that hasn't hit it as well as they have and that's your problem. The Hippies have worked tirelessly at being the best in ours and the surrounding area. With 3 cd's under their belts, "Pride of Texas" being their latest and greatest, the Hippies are destined for success. Rocklahoma is going to be a great starting point to the Hippies making a great impression on the record industry. Regardless of what stage and who they open for, our "cats" deserve it. Good luck guys, ya'll know who your true fans are and we have been lucky to take this ride to stardom with you. Love you guys! Flawed Hippie chic

Eighties festival is key word. Nobody gonna be signing no eighties Pantera wanna bes. It is however going to a great time and who wouldn't want to rock the stage if you were in a band. Eighties metal or not.

Posted by: betty Location: shertown on Mar 11, 2008 at 03:06 PM
Whatever... sounds like you don't really know who you're opening for. I hope yor music is more attractive than your stage presence. Eww.

Ummm hello. That kind of music went out 20 years ago. Saying they will be discovered is like saying a local disco band is about to be discovered. There has to be an audience for the music or NO ONE cares. How many record labels are signing new hair bands these days? Get a clue, grow up and cut your hair. How can people grow hair like that and think it is cool? If it were cool wouldn't more than .oo1% of the world population be doing it? On second thought keep it up. You hair-band followers that are left out there (however few it may be) give us normal people some high quality entertainment (and I don't mean the music). Hope you enjoy "rocklahoma" and I hope the drug abuse isn't too rampant. What a joke. Even the promoters have pickled their brains with too many drugs and cannot get more creative than "rocklahoma".

Hey Pirate, There WAS NOT 100,000 people there last year. That's what they told you. There was a max. of 15,000 per day, I was there and I KNOW FOR A FACT. Why would record labels got to this festival in the middle of Oklahoma? I've never heard of record labels going to festivals to sign new talent, have you? Doesn't make sense.

We haven’t led you astray yet, right? So far our rumors for Rocklahoma have turned into realities, with the exception of our Motley Crue Sunday headliner prediction which hasn’t yet been announced, but we’ll get to that in a moment. The same anonymous tipster who correctly told us that Extreme, Tesla, Kix and many others would be announced for Rocklahoma has just alerted us that Sammy Hagar will be filling the final Friday spot. Woah! No word on whether ex-Van Halen and The Other Half bassist Michael Anthony will be playing with him or not. In addition to that, Motley Crue, Buckcherry and Drowning Pool (which our tipster mis-spelled as Frowning Pool. Intentional or not, I love that typo) will be teaming up for a U.S. Summer tour, and the tour will make a stop at Rocklahoma to fill the remaining empty Sunday slots. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. And now back to your usual Saturday stoniness…

The Rocklahoma Festival announced their roster today at a press conference in Los Angeles. The festival, which will take place July 10-13 in Pryor, Oklahoma, will boast performances by Bret Michaels, Cinderella, Warrant, Tesla and reunions of Armored Saint and Kix among others. The festival also proclaimed that a few more “major” bands will be added to the lineup in the coming days, but as of now are unconfirmed. Also, in order to see Bret Michaels and the rest of the Thursday bands, you must purchase three-day passes for the festival. The full, tentative lineup is after the jump. Thursday Bret Michaels L.A. behind the "music" should check out last years Rocklahoma headlines. Over 100,000 attended Rocklahoma 2007. Brainwashing, ignorant...at least give the people credit for their own personal preferences. And who cares if you believe or not. The show is in 4 months, then we will all know.Stage right or left, THC is going to be heard by top record labels attending.

Posted by: Anonymous on Mar 11, 2008 at 08:32 AM
Do you really think Tesla would allow you to go on after you? Get real, you're playing a side stage and those spots were going for $5,000 a band. You got hosed... Good luck at cRocklahoma.

Posted by: Jake on Mar 11, 2008 at 07:37 AM
Hey guys! who vares which stage? There are 2 TBA's that dsunday on main stage. Playing between Tessla and Motley Crue is a killer position for these guys. Big record labels will be there and they will be heard. THC Rocks!

Posted by: KISSS Location: here on Mar 11, 2008 at 12:20 AM
Hmmmm...I wonder if one of those TBA (to be announced)in the line up could be Motley Crue! Their new cd, Texas Hippie Coalition: Pride of Texas is available at cdbaby.com/texashippiecoalition. You guys are awesome!

First of all,if anyone in this area has ever been exposed to REAL music, I don't think THC would have any "fans". Maybe all the hype is just due to the fact that they're fans have been sheltered from ever going to a real concert...umm like outside of the Texoma area. Try going to an actual concert venue...they can hold quite a bit more than 200 people...Try to sell tickets to a show that holds 30,000 ..then I might believe that THC is "opening" for Motley Crue. THC is just the product of too much publicity over the radio they use as a brainwashing technique to get people to come to their shows. As far as Rocklahoma goes, it's time for THC to be truthful..atleast with their fans. They will be playing on the 3rd stage...NOT the MAIN stage, as they have led you to believe. Are you people that ignorant that you think an UNSIGNED band would open for Motley Crue???

To all you haters get a life. I've been following THC since the beginning and they rule the earth. Richard sings like a big red bird and Randy isn't very good but he is sexy, the drummer is like a redneck Tommy Lee, the bass player is ambidextrious and the new rythym player is a rythm player.

I love the new CD. All the songs rock. My favorite is Holy Man. I always knew that Jeff's songwriting abilities would push you over the edge. Please don't forget all the people who have supported you guys since the spandex days. I like Randy's hair better now than when it stuck up in the air like a sissy.

To all of yall who are attempting to diss thc, i really pity yall. This band in not only awesome and new but it is people like yall that dont try out new bands and go with what every one else listens to just to be cool. This band is not only original but a band that has true heart and has fought tooth and nail to be where they are now. No matter what ignorant individuals like yourself may say these men are truly a testiment to the American way of life. Congrats guys hope this is one of many future gigs!!!
