8-8-05 - Astronauts are circling Earth, waiting to land. Bad weather in Florida blocked the space shuttle's planned landing Monday morning.
An astronaut waiting at the runway says, "It's better to be on the safe side."
Flight officials say Discovery will land Tuesday in Florida, California or New Mexico.
The first of several landing opportunities is scheduled for just after five a-m Eastern time Tuesday morning in Florida. Two alternate landing sites also have been activated -- Edwards Air Force Base in California and White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.
