7-4-05 – A Durant mother, missing since Tuesday, has called home, saying she is safe. Aimee Tynan was last seen leaving work in Addison, Texas June 28th. She called her husband and said she would pick up her three children on her way home to Durant.
The 34-year-old never went home and worried family members launched a search. A GPS navigational system in her car helped authorities track it to San Antonio, but there was no sign of Tynan.
Sunday night, Bryan County authorities reported that Tynan called her sister and told her she was safe in Shreveport, Louisiana.
There is still no word yet on why the woman went to Shreveport.
