8-14-05 - A Ringling man has died after an accident early Sunday morning in Love County. Twenty-six-year-old Scott Humble died just after 4 p.m. Sunday after clinging to life for most of the day.
Troopers say Humble's car was flattened after a semi truck ran a stop sign at the intersection of Highways 76 and 32. The driver of that truck, 27-year-old Jeffrey Hazaleus of Ringling was not injured.
Humble was pinned in his vehicle for 25 minutes before rescue crews could free him. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and then transported to Norman Regional Medical Center where he died this afternoon.
Troopers say Mediflight was not able to land at the scene due to foggy and rainy conditions.
