GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. --New details have emerged regarding a fatal accident in Southmayd that killed an 8-year-old boy.

Eight-year-old Jarred Winegeart died in a car accident October 19, 2007, in Southmayd. Police say the man driving the truck that hit Jarred and his mother was legally intoxicated that morning.

Police say they discovered this when Nathan Robert Baze, 21, took a blood test when he went to the hospital for minor injuries.

A grand jury indicted Baze for two charges involved with the incident.
